Full Course includes Gel, Acrylic, Gel Polish, Gel Dip, Iconic Polygel, Fibre Extensions, Toenail Reconstruction.
All Nail Courses include Habbill Nail Trainers to the value of R999
All our Nail Courses include Overlays on natural nails, Tip Overlays and Sculpture.
None of our Courses include Gel Lamps. These have to be added on extra.
Please choose between the 36W Rapidcure or Rapidpro Lamps as we are sure they cure our products properly.
Gel Lamps are needed for Gel, Gel & Acrylic and Full Courses.
Nail Student must bring to Training:
Paper Towel, Hand Towel, Foam Rest, 36W UV/LED Rapidcure or Rapidpro Lamp, Soak Bowl, Foil

REGISTRATION
Confirm Course date and venue.
Complete Registration Form.
Return completed Registration Form + proof of payment to training@planetnails.co.za or to venue you booked at.
Request a copy of the completed Registration Form, you need it for Exams.
Request a receipt when making payment for a Course.
A Course can be paid off in instalments of your choice, but can only be attended once full payment is made.
SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS
Students with special needs might need extra Training days. Extra Training days cost R1500 per day.
Students who cannot read and write, students who are slow learners, and students who are not fluent in English are all special needs students.
TRAINING
Do not arrange to do other things on the confirmed Training dates.
Once you book dates, those are the dates you have to attend the Course on.
Training is from 9am – 4pm on weekdays.
If you miss the Training dates you agreed upon, you will have to book new dates at R1500 per day.
LIVE MODELS
Students must provide live models during Training.
This is important as working on a Practice Hand and a live model is not the same at all.
If student does not bring a live model on below days, student must book and pay for extra days at R1500 per day to redo days.
Acrylic + Sculpture 1 model on last day of Course
Gel + Sculpture 1 model on last day of Course
Gel & Acrylic + Sculpture 1 model on day 7 and 12 of Course (total 2 models)
Full + Sculpture 1 model on day 7 and 12 of Course (total 2 models)
Manicure & Pedicure 1 model on each day of Course (total 2 models)
Waxing & Tinting 1 model on each day of Course (total 3 models)
Waxing & Tinting Intimate 1 model as above + 3 models on last day of Course (total 6 models)
Eyelash Extensions 1 model on each day of Course (total 2 models)
WORKSHOPS / CONVERSIONS
Should a student book for a Workshop, the student must bring along or buy the products needed for the Workshop.
Only Planet Nails product are allowed to be used.
Student must provide or buy a Habbill Trainer to do Nail Workshop on.
Workshops and Conversion Courses are charged for at R1500 per day.
Attendance Certificates are issued for Workshops, provided students work is up to standard.
To attend a Conversion Course, proof of prior Training must be provided by student.
SUPPORT GROUP
Students can join the Planet Nails Product Support Group on Facebook or join the Planet Nails WhatsApp Group.
Ambassadors and Trainers on the groups are ready to assist students with questions they might have.
AFTER TRAINING
After Training, student must complete 50 practical hours per system, as well as a Portfolio and Colour Portfolio.
Portfolios gets handed in on Exam day, and does not get returned to student.
EXAM
Once practical hours are completed, and Portfolio and Colour Portfolio is done, Exams can be booked.
A Theory and Practical Exam must be done.
Exam must be done within 12 months after completion of a Course.
Exam Fees are R1500 per system. R1500 for Acrylic. R1500 for Gel.
Exams are done 4 times per year and might be at a different venue than the Course venue.
Portfolio and Colour Portfolio are part of the Exam.
SAFETY AND HYGIENE PROTOCOL FOR TRAINERS, STUDENTS AND MODELS (DURING TRAINING AND EXAMS)
If you want to attend Training during Lockdown, you will be requested to complete a Covid Consent Form.
Other measurements that are put in place during Training:
Use an alcohol-based hand Sanitizer frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Stay at home if you are sick. New days will have to be booked at R1500 per day.
Keep a distance of 1.5 metres from other people at all times.
Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces with an alcohol-based Sanitizer frequently.
Wear a Mask at all time
